Ciao Sciacca, sono Nino Porrello, benvenuto nel mio Blog e sito web, dove troverai articoli che sono il frutto della mia passione giornalistica e di un impegno civico per la mia Sciacca e il suo territorio.
Scrivere bene va ben oltre un semplice titolo. Oggi è più che mai importante ricordare che dietro ogni articolo e post sui media vi è una persona in carne e ossa che si espone in prima persona trasmettendo il suo pensiero. E’ quello che spero di offrire nel mio blog, contenuti d’interesse cittadino anche e soprattutto su argomenti apparentemente secondari, perché è proprio dalle cose ordinarie e fattibili (e ce ne sono tantissime a Sciacca ) che occorre ripartire per rendere migliore questa nostra città.
L’auspicio è che con il tempo, questi contenuti diventino non solo il mio modo di vedere le cose, ma anche il pensiero comune di chi volesse partecipare ad un progetto “politico e civico” di servizio alla città di Sciacca.
Da qui il nome del blog: ServireSciacca, che intende esprimere, insieme, un modo di essere e una speranza.
Il modo di essere è quello di chi fa proprio un forte riferimento valoriale al ruolo del “cittadino attivo”: “un cittadino appassionato del bene comune, con un robusto senso civico improntato al fare, ma anche con il coraggio di andare controcorrente in nome dei propri valori civici e così di essere anche costruttivamente critico verso le istituzioni, quando necessario”.
La speranza è invece quella di poter contribuire fattivamente alla valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale, naturalistico, ambientale, storico, artistico e termale della città di Sciacca e di tutto il suo territorio, al fine di rifondarne la smarrita identità di bellissima città storica – turistica e termale, favorirne la rinascita politica, economica e culturale, e con essa la crescita delle possibilità occupazionali per le giovani generazioni.
Per far questo è indispensabile una disponibilità al SERVIZIO da parte dei singoli a favore della collettività: è questo che contraddistingue la “Politica” con la P maiuscola dalla “politica” degli interessi personali, che ha depredato e annientato il valore del “senso civico” e determinato il declino della città.
Per far questo occorre anche voler SOGNARE: se rimane il sogno di una singola persona questo resterà un blog personale e quindi una sorta di diario giornalistico, se invece a sognare insieme diventassimo pian piano in tanti, allora il nome di questo blog avrà indicato un percorso per far rifiorire la speranza in una nuova Sciacca Terme, ancora più bella e autenticamente vivibile per i suoi abitanti e per chi ci viene come turista.
