Il Sindaco di Mazara del Vallo, Salvatore Quinci, e il presidente del Distretto della Pesca e della Crescita Blu, Nino Carlino, hanno inaugurato stamattina la nuova sede del Distretto, dove è stato attivato anche un Info Point sulla Pesca.
I nuovi locali sono ubicati in pieno centro a Mazara del Vallo, a pochi passi dall’Aula consiliare di via Carmine. L’Info Point sarà aperto dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 9,30 alle ore 13,30 e, su appuntamento, anche il pomeriggio del martedì fino alle ore 16,00. Lo Sportello è stato affidato al Consorzio di Valorizzazione del Pescato Cosvap – Distretto della pesca sulla base di una convenzione. Verranno offerti servizi, informazioni e aggiornamenti su:
– opportunità legate ai bandi regionali, nazionali e comunitari a valere sui programmi operativi Ue;
– leggi vigenti in materia di attività marittime legate alla navigazione, al commercio, alla pesca, e quant’altro legato alla filiera del mare, ivi compresa attività di internazionalizzazione;
– ascolto e orientamento con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare e diffondere i principi della Blue Economy e della Circular Economy al servizio degli operatori del mare e della filiera ad esso correlata.
La cerimonia inaugurale, alla presenza dei rappresentanti delle locali forze dell’ordine, dei rappresentanti del FlagTrapanese che ha realizzato l’intervento, di assessori, consiglieri comunali e operatori della pesca, si è aperta con la benedizione dei locali da parte di don Salvatore Gabriele ed il taglio del nastro. Il sindaco Salvatore Quinci, anche nella qualità di presidente del Flag trapanese, ha sottolineato “l’importanza della cooperazione tra Comune e Flag, che ha consentito di riqualificare un locale comunale che era prima adibito a magazzino e che ora è un punto di informazione e riferimento per gli operatori del comparto Pesca grazie alla convenzione con il Distretto”. Il presidente del Distretto, Nino Carlino, ha ringraziato l’amministrazione comunale ed il Flag per la collaborazione sinergica che “consentirà di unire le forze per fornire servizi ed informazioni alla marineria con l’obiettivo di cogliere tutte le opportunità per lo sviluppo del comparto”.
