Nuova Missione istituzionale in Tunisia per il Distretto della Pesca e Crescita Blu – Cosvapnell’ambito del progetto “Bleu Adapt” finalizzato alla attivazione di iniziative di monitoraggio e contrasto dell’invasione nel Mediterraneo della specie biologica aliena Granchio Blu.
Il progetto è finanziato dal Programma Europeo IEV di Cooperazione Transfrontaliera ITALIA-TUNISIA 2014-2020 e vede il Distretto della Pesca quale partner italiano che opera a supporto delle aziende della filiera della pesca siciliana e dei suoi operatori. L’obiettivo è quello di implementareazioni azioni concertate al fine di trasformare la “minaccia”Granchio Blu in una “risorsa” per le marinerie. Alla missione in Tunisia, per il Distretto della Pesca hanno partecipato la Dott.ssa Angelita Marino, il Dott. Francesco Foraci, la Dott.ssa Marianna Cittadino e il Dott. Hajlaoui Khaled Sghaier, i quali ,oltre ad incontrare i partner esteri del progetto, durante i lavori hanno potuto confrontarsi con il Sottosegretario dell’Agricoltura e della Pesca della Tunisia, Dott. Skandrani Yassine, e con il Direttore Generale della Pesca, Dott. Rafik Nouaili.

Attraverso il nostro operato intendiamo favorire tutta la filiera della pesca fornendo informazioni utili rispetto a modalità di cattura ed anche di utilizzo commerciale del Granchio Blu.”
