Questo ha immaginato, scritto e messo in scena Angelo Pumilia in pochissimi giorni, per un folto gruppo di soci e volontari del Museo Diffuso dei 5 sensi, con il saluto iniziale della Presidente, Viviana Rizzuto.

Litigiose e impertinenti, le statuine litigano per avere il loro posto davanti alla grotta e, in attesa della nascita del Bambino, rivendicano l’importanza del proprio ruolo. Così i tradizionali personaggi come il pescivendolo, il pastore, la lavandaia, la filatrice di lana, il suonatore di zufolo, intrecciano i loro dialoghi con nuovi personaggi come la mugnaia, il ceramista, la corallaia, l’albergatrice , ruoli noti nel mondo del Museo diffuso dei 5 sensi di Sciacca .
C’è posto per tutti in questo nuovo presepe e soprattutto ci sono gli elementi che rappresentano la specificità di Sciacca: il corallo, la ceramica, i prodotti della terra e del mare. E quando Giuseppe esce, appendendo il fiocco azzurro davanti alla grotta, le statuine disputeranno sul nome da dare al bambino e i Re Magi (che sono arrivati in ritardo per aver confuso la mirra con la birra) sono pronti a offrire i loro doni a Gesù. Anche Babbo Natale e la Befana fanno la loro comparsa nella commedia, sempre con la consueta ironia dell’autore, che tra il serio e il faceto è riuscito a creare un clima di festa e di gioia, divertendo il pubblico e facendo vivere a questo folto gruppo di neo-attori un’esperienza che difficilmente dimenticheranno.
