Domani, Lunedì 9 Gennaio, a partire dalle ore 9, avrà inizio il progetto nazionale di Marevivo Onlus “Nauticinblu” che coinvolgerà 17 Istituti Nautici italiani, tra i quali l’Istituto Nautico “Don Michele Arena” di Sciacca.
Proprio l’istituto saccense sarà il primo nautico siciliano ad avviare tale progetto per l’anno scolastico in corso e sarà coinvolto in 4 giornate di educazione ambientale.
Il progetto Nauticinblu è un percorso didattico che coinvolge circa 1500 studenti l’anno di tutta Italia con l’obiettivo di fornire nuove competenze a completamento della loro formazione, includendo la tutela dell’ambiente e la sostenibilità delle nostre risorse marine.
È rivolto agli studenti del biennio e negli incontri in cui è articolato si approfondiscono le principali criticità ambientali del nostro mare e le opportunità che l’economia circolare offre per una gestione sostenibile delle risorse, attraverso l’integrazione tra le politiche economiche e i servizi ecosistemici associati al capitale naturale dell’ambiente marino costiero.
La giornata di domani vedrà i saluti delle istituzioni presenti (Dirigente scolastico, Comune e Capitaneria), la presentazione del progetto ed altre attività di educazione ambientale inerenti il progetto stesso.
Il 10 Gennaio dalle 9 alle 13 i 70 studenti che vi prenderanno parte effettueranno poi una pulizia presso la spiaggia dello Stazzone con successivo campionamento dei rifiuti secondo il vigente protocollo dettato da Oce.
