Ogni estate nella area delle Muciare, in particolare nella zona della spiaggia che conduce alla fonte che si perde a mare delle acque dei Molinelli, si piazzano diverse decine di camper.
In particolare nei fine settimana un certo numero di camper trovano il modo di “campeggiare ” in questa zona della città. Per correttezza dobbiamo aggiungere che questa zona della nostra costa, che da Cammordino arriva fino a Sovareto, è da diversi anni abbandonata, tant’è che è diventata un sorta di ricettacolo per tutti coloro che l’hanno considerata un’area in cui abbandonare di tutto.
Essendo in gran parte una zona privata che da anni attende la realizzazione di progetti di riqualificazione turistica, rimane oggetto di scarico e abbandono delle cose più impensabili.
Quindi Muciare o Fornace, comunque la si voglia chiamare, sopravvive in uno stato di degrado permanente che la rende assolutamente impresentabile.
Nonostante tutto ciò, come detto decine di camper ne fanno un luogo di parcheggio, sia per la presenza dell’acqua termale dei Molinelli che vi sfocia con un gran tubo sulla spiaggia, sia perché è una zona oggettivamente comoda.
Allora, se esiste una camperistica che frequenta Sciacca, come mai nella nostra città non ha mai attecchito una struttura per Campeggio Camper che offra un servizio regolare, efficiente e sopratutto decoroso per questa tipologia di utenza turistica?
Stamattina, trovandomi zona impegnato a fare alcune foto, sono stato avvicinato da uno di questi camperisti, che in maniera molto corretta e con evidente curiosità mi ha chiesto il perché del mio interesse fotografico per quel luogo. ed ha voluto rassicurarmi che buona parte degli avventori camperesti dei fine settimana provengono dalla zona del palermitano, sono persone corrette, stanno attenti alla pulizia e controllano i comportamenti di coloro che sporadicamente frequentano il luogo.
Mi ha fatto piacere potere avere un confronto con questo signore, che ha tenuto a precisare che spesso sono coloro che frequentano la spiaggia sporadicamente a lasciare spazzatura ed altro. Non sapeva che avrei scritto un articolo e che parlare con lui ha cambiato il mio preconcetto sul loro comportamento.
Rimane il fatto che a Sciacca ci sarebbe necessità di avere un campeggio organizzato.
