Una bella novità arriva da un comunicato stampa appena emesso dal Comune di Sciacca:
COMUNICATO STAMPA 31 LUGLIO 2023
PATTO DI CONDIVISIONE E COLLABORAZIONE PER LA VILLETTA MURA DI VEGA TRA COMUNE DI SCIACCA E ASSOCIAZIONE DI SAN MICHELE
Un patto di condivisione per la gestione, la manutenzione, la fruizione pubblica, la valorizzazione della villetta Mura di Vega. È stato stipulato dal Comune di Sciacca con l’associazione Mura di Vega che ha sede nello stesso quartiere di San Michele. L’intesa, tra Istituzione comunale e associazione, è stata sottoscritta a seguito dell’avviso “Fai più bella la tua città”.
A darne notizia sono il sindaco Fabio Termine e le assessore rispettivamente con delega Ville e Giardini e Verde Pubblico Agnese Sinagra e Valeria Gulotta, che questa mattina hanno consegnato le chiavi del cancello d’ingresso della villetta al presidente dell’associazione Mura di Vega Accursio Chiarello. Presente anche il presidente del Comitato di quartiere Lillo Cucchiara.
“Auspichiamo – dichiarano – che questo patto di condivisione della cosa pubblica trovi altre sensibilità, altre disponibilità, e, dunque, applicazioni su altri beni della città”.
In un rapporto di collaborazione, l’associazione Mura di Vega avrà il compito di custodia, gestione delle aree a verde, piccole manutenzioni e della valorizzazione del contesto culturale della villetta di San Michele.
La convenzione è stata stipulata lo scorso fine settimana con il dirigente del VI Settore Aldo Misuraca. Oggi il secondo atto. Nei prossimi giorni, è previsto un intervento di pulizia e scerbatura del Comune di Sciacca con la propria squadra di operai attualmente impegnata in un’altra area della città.
P.S. di ServireSciacca: È auspicabile, se non ancora fatto, che il Comune riesca a rimettere una panchina nel luogo più panoramico di questa villetta, là dove era stata rimossa quella vecchia perché troppo deteriorata.
