Non è più operativo da alcuni mesi il Comitato dello Stazzone. Disillusione e amarezza per le difficoltà burocratiche e le mancate risposte ai problemi dei residenti hanno tolto entusiasmo e slancio a tutti.
Vi ripropongo un mio articolo del 2021 in cui sintetizzavi le tante iniziative messe in campo dal Comitato, ora dimissionario.
Il Borgo dello Stazzone è il luogo del cuore, lo abbiamo sempre detto. Ma chi lo ama davvero sono i residenti, gli “stazzonari doc” che lì raccolgono i loro ricordi d’infanzia e lì continuano a trascorrere non solo l’estate, ma la maggior parte dell’anno. Quanto può l’amore per il proprio, piccolo quartiere, lo hanno dimostrato i componenti del locale Comitato di quartiere che hanno portato avanti, nell’estate di due anni fa, prima della pandemia, tutta una serie di iniziative che hanno dell’incredibile, se rapportate all’immobilismo delle istituzioni comunali.
Tutte le iniziative intraprese hanno avuto come obiettivo la rivalutazione e la salvaguardia ambientale del Borgo, ma anche il coinvolgimento di tutti i cittadini per momenti di condivisione sociale, culturale e gastronomico.
Prima di ricevere gli ospiti, ogni buon padrone di casa, prepara l’accoglienza e si adopera affinchè tutto (o quasi) sia in ordine. Ecco allora che il Comitato mette mano al piccolo gazebo di legno la cui manutenzione è stata disattesa da Comune. Con l’aiuto di alcuni sponsor e l’olio di gomito di alcuni volenterosi e amici, dei teli di stoffa vengono montati al posto di quelli di legno ormai fradici. Eleganti e funzionali, cambiano l’aspetto della struttura.
E’ ora di pensare a una pulizia straordinaria del quartiere. ) Giugno 2019. Il Comitato mobilita tutte le associazioni di volontariato del territorio con lo slogan “Tutti per lo Stazzone”. Entusiastica l’adesione di tanti volontari per questa iniziativa. Adulti e ragazzi che amano l’ambiente raccolgono sacchi di spazzatura sulla spiaggia e sulla scogliera.
Per gli ospiti gli stazzonari preparano la tradizionale minestra con le sarde dei marinai di Sciacca.
Passano quindici giorni appena e nasce una nuova iniziativa, questa volta per coinvolgere i bambini e le famiglie con tanti giochi e degustazioni di dolci fatti in casa: le torte “salutari”
Prendendo lo spunto dalla presenza di Dolce e Gabbana a Sciacca, la geniale inventiva di Calogero Di Leo crea un memorabile manifesto per l’evento “collaterale” dello Stazzone:
Intanto il Comitato acquisisce la collaborazione di uno sponsor importante per alcune attività ludiche da mettere in campo per il mese di Luglio.
Il comico Beppe Braida intrattiene adulti e ragazzi sotto il piccolo gazebo del Borgo in una serata divertente e coinvolgente, con una grande partecipazione di pubblico.
Altra serata indimenticabile quella con Madalina Pometescu, vincitrice di Bake Off Italia e la gara di torte fatte in casa.
In Settembre, un’altra delle imprese “titaniche” per un Comitato di quartiere : la preparazione del Cuscus.
E’ l’epopea di tutti gli stazzonari che collaborano il Comitato. Quanto pesce da pulire! Quanta semola da incocciare! Ma niente ferma questi incoscienti, ma appassionati della socialità!
In Ottobre arriva il mitico minestrone dello Stazzone. Fondamentale ed entusiastica la partecipazione di alcuni Club Service di Sciacca per una serata di gastronomia e intrattenimento musicale per tutti.
L’incredibile stagione, ha superato l’estate e l’autunno, arriva in inverno con altre due iniziative. la cuccìa il 13 Dicembre e l’albero di Natale di tronchi d’albero recuperati dal mare.
Solo la pandemia ha potuto fermare la passione e l’attaccamento al Borgo del Comitato e di tutti gli stazzonari e amici dello Stazzone. Adesso è il momento di rimboccarsi le maniche e di pensare al futuro.
