“Vulissi turnari nicuzzo“, e chi di noi non l’ha mai pensato? Il nostro grande poeta Vincenzo Licata ne fece il titolo di una sua bellissima lirica, e ricordo assai bene che quando il poeta recitava questa poesia i brividi dell’emozione ne accompagnavano inevitabilmente l’ascolto.
Giovanni Giglio come regista e attore con tutto il suo straordinario entusiasmo giovanile, insieme ai componenti dell’Associazione “Sciacca da Vivere”, ne ha fatto il titolo di quello che lui stesso ha definito un “omaggio teatrale” a Vincenzo Licata e alla gente di quel quartiere della Marina di Sciacca nel quale il poeta ebbe i natali.
Già per il fatto stesso di aver voluto ricordare e celebrare Vincenzo Licata, il nostro poeta del mare, Giovanni Giglio e tutta la sua squadra meriterebbero una medaglia. In più hanno avuto il merito di metter su uno spettacolo sicuramente originale, una rappresentazione teatrale e musicale, che ieri sera nell’atrio inferiore del Comune di Sciacca ha messo in scena innanzitutto passione e autenticità.
E gli spettatori, tantissimi, se ne sono resi conto benissimo, accompagnando con calorosi applausi le canzoni, le poesie, la parte teatrale ben recitata e con un testo sicuramente all’altezza.
L’idea di Giovanni Giglio è bella e originale, ossia rappresentare in scena un cortile della nostra Marina nel quartiere dei pescatori, dove si incontrano una serie di personaggi che, attraverso un filo conduttore narrativo, rievocano la nostra più autentica tradizione marinara, la vita di Vincenzo Licata e alcune delle sue opere, recitate dal sempre bravissimo Raimondo Moncada.
Un vero e proprio omaggio al grande poeta del mare, in parole e musica, e il cui viso in profilo era presente sulla scena, rappresentato da un ritratto che gli fece un altro grande figlio di Sciacca, quell’Accursio Miraglia che di Vincenzo Licata fu grande amico.
Ai piedi del palcoscenico la pittrice Lucia Stefanetti ha invece dipinto in diretta, nel corso dello spettacolo, un altro ritratto del poeta.
Bellissima la voce e l’interpretazione di Vincenzo Turturici, che ha cantato in modo splendido tre canzoni. Ma bellissimo anche il lavoro di squadra fatto di collaborazione, condivisione, allegria e soprattutto di entusiasmo che ha contribuito a realizzare questo spettacolo e che in modo spontaneo e genuino è apparso ben visibile quando alla fine Giovanni Giglio ha chiamato sul palco, insieme agli attori e cantanti, tutti quelli che in un modo e nell’altro hanno contribuito a costruire questo importante omaggio della città al poeta Vincenzo Licata.
