Il Coordinamento di Cittadinanzattiva ha preso immediatamente posizione in relazione al respingimento da parte della Regione di tre progetti presentati dal Comune di Sciacca al fine di ottenere finanziamenti europei per complessivi 9 milioni di ieri, notizia che il nostro Blog ieri aveva commentato per il fatto che sono stati considerati irricevibili “perché sprovvisti del necessario supporto informatico”.
Cittadinanzattiva considera un fatto del genere gravissimo e lesivo per la città, e nel caso in cui la notizia trovasse definitiva conferma richiede all’amministrazione comunale i necessari chiarimenti, l’accertamento immediatamente delle relative responsabilità e che queste vengano opportunamente sanzionate.
Ieri l’assessore comunale ai Lavori Pubblici, Roberto Lo Cicero aveva dichiarato alla stampa: “Ufficialmente non abbiamo avuto nessuna comunicazione da parte della Regione, faremo le opportune verifiche direttamente presso gli uffici della Regione Siciliana”.

Lo stato di degrado e di decadenza in cui versa la città impone che non solo ci diano spiegazioni (ma ce ne sono?) ma anche che vengano individuate e comunicate le correlative responsabilità, con le conseguenze del caso.
La notizia è quella, riportata dal Corriere di Sciacca, circa la decisione della Regione siciliana di dichiare “irricevibili ” tre progetti presentati dal Comune di Sciacca al fine di ottenerne il finanziamento per complessivi 9 milioni di euro.
La cosa incredibile la si scopre nella motivazione di questo NO: i progetti sono stati bocciati “perché sprovvisti del necessario supporto informatico”.
Quindi, evidentemente, nel punto del bando che regolava le modalità di presentazione dei progetti ci stava la disposizione che il progetto dovesse essere supportato in modalità informatica.
Ciò significa che, oltre al cartaceo, gli uffici del Comune di Sciacca avrebbero dovuto allegare una chiavetta USB contenente la progettazione per cui veniva richiesto un correlativo finanziamento, al fine di poter rendere la progettazione consultabile anche attraverso i software specializzati.
Ma il Comune di Sciacca non l’ha fatto.
Si fosse trattato di progetto di piccola entità la cosa sarebbe magari passata inosservata, ma 9 miliardi di euronon sono noccioline.
Nell’ambito dell’Azione 6.6.1 “Interventi per la tutela e la valorizzazione di aree di attrazione di rilevanza strategica (aree protette in ambito terrestre e marino, paesaggi tutelati)”, per promuovere processi di sviluppo, c’erano disponibili 16 milioni di euro.
E la nostra città rimarrà ancora una volta a mani vuote.
Uno dei tre progetti per circa 2,4 milioni di euro riguardava la riqualificazione della villa comunale, da tempo promessa e attesa.
Può una città come Sciacca perdere la possibilità accedere alla graduatoria per 9 milioni di euro di finanziamenti europei a causa di una “dimenticanza” degli uffici comunali?
Qualunque cittadino dotato di un minimo di senso civico rispondera’ di no, ma cosa ci diranno in proposito Sindaco, Assessori e Dirigente dell’ufficio preposto alla preparazione e presentazione dei progetti di sviluppo in questione?
